Today I'd like you to use markers on your page! Doodle, color, write, whatever you want/need to do to incorporate those markers onto your page! That is the main rule. If you'd like to make it a little harder, add in a little bit of hidden journaling and at least two colors. Then use four photos! Have fun and good luck!

Getting Outside Your Comfort Zone
Today I have a new and probably harder challenge for you. I'm asking you to jump outside of your comfort zone... if you normally have trouble sewing on your layouts, I challenge you to sew. If you have a ton of rub-ons that you don't really feel comfortable using, I'm challenging you to use some of those up. Distressing not really your thing? Well try it! Maybe you'll like it!

Patriotic Party!!
I know that the 4th of July is long over, but I'm sure your guys memories are still fresh in your minds, and my guess is that even if you've started scrapping those pics already, you couldn't be finished by now!! So our goal today is to at least START scrapping those patriotic pictures! So today I have some guidelines for this. Not only do you need to use a patriotic picture, you need to use the colors red, white, and blue, and you also need to have 5 brads on your page. Hope you have fun!

Here We Go!!!
Alright. Let's take a deep breath here. I'm sorry that I haven't been doing too good with the blog lately, but I just contacted the design team and I'm hoping that I will be able to start up again on July 10. Even if something happens with the design team, I'll do a layout and post that. No matter what, I'm going to do this!! Thanks for being patient with me!

Day 9 - Circle Fun
This challenge is for you to make a page that has at least 5 circles on the page. It is not that many when you think about it, and these circles can be layered, partial circles, whole circles, giant one, or tiny dots drawn with a pen. Whatever you do with this challenge, it must have at least 5 circles, it may have more if you like but it is not necessary. So get started!!!

Day 8 - All About Me!!
Today's challenge is to make a layout that is all about you!! You need to make it a monochrome in your favorite color, and it needs to describe you; your faves, where your dream vacation would be, your style, your hobbies, etc. You can use anything you want to make this; there is no limitation on embellies, paper, or journaling... just let yourself go and make a page that is ALL ABOUT YOU!!

Day 7 - Pretty in Purple
I was just thinking the other day about how people say pretty in pink, while somebody can be pretty in purple too! Purple is a recent favorite color of mine for scrapbooking... even though for other things lime lime green is. Just last night I went to Pat Catans to spend my christmas and birthday money and I made a major investment... a heat embossing tool. I have been looking at those little heat guns for quite a while now and finally chose to go ahead and make the purchase! If any of you have a heat gun and embossing powders, you need to use some heat embossing on your layout. If you don't, use at least 5 brads. Most of your layout should be purple, but you may have less than 4 items that are not purple on your layout!! Go ahead!! Get started!!

Day 6 - Ad Inspired Challenge
It is the time for an ad inspired challenge. Every once in a while, I'll throw one of these challenges out there for all of you! First,I'll tell you how it works! I will post a picture of an ad that inspires me and then it is up to you to create a page using is as inspiration. It could be the colors, or the way they use the text. It might even be the placement of the elements featured in the ad. Here is your ad:
An example would be that just because today's ad features emerald green as the main color, that does not mean that you HAVE to use emerald green in your layout!! It can, if the color is what inspires you, but if you were more inspired by, say, the number of elements,by all means use that as your inspiration!!
Here is Sarah's layout!!

Day 5 - Recipe Challenge
Today the challenge is what I like to call a recipe: a list of items that you can use no more and no less of. For example, if the recipe calls for 5 flowers, don't use 4 or 6. Use 5. So without further ado, here is your recipe. You need to use two pieces of patterned paper, two sheets of cardstock, three flowers, and a bow. You can interpret these things any way you like... the flowers could be silk, paper (like prima), stickers, stamps, or even cutouts. And one last thing - if I say to use two sheets of patterned paper, you can use just a small part of each piece (you don't have to use the whole thing)

Day 4 - Color Pallet
Today I chose to do a color pallet for a few specific reasons... one is that color is the hardest part of making a layout in my opinion! After the color is chosen, my page flies by... so I decided to give color a try! The colors are hot pink, lime green, soft pink, white and black!! So get started...
And here is Amy's layout!!

Day 2 - Winter Fun
Even though December is now over, I want to do a layout with snow. Dig out those pictures of snowball fights, snowmen, or even what your yard looks like after it snows. The layout needs to have at least three photos, but other than that the layout is yours to direct. Make sure to tell your friends and to invite everyone that you know that scrapbooks!!
And here is Judith's first layout!

Day 1 - New Year's Inspiration
Today your challenge is to make a layout that is based on New Year's Eve pics. You could use pictures from last night, or any other year you took pictures. Last night I didn't take pictures (I had my camera, but I forgot) so you can just journal about how much you enjoyed it!! Put a post on your blog with the result and then post it on here through the Mr. Linky Wizard.
